Mixed Media Canvas for a Contest
This is a piece I created for a local contest where the theme was "The Diaspora". The Bible refers to the Diaspora of Jews exiled from Israel by the Babylonians. This canvas did't win any price. Next, I'm showing the process to create the focal point, which was over a wood frame. The whole piece was made on a 30"X40" birch wood cradled panel. Mixed Media Heart
I was given a 3D fiberglass heart and asked to do "something" with it for an auction with many well known Chilean artists. I really freaked out and didn't know what to do with it. After a few days thinking, I decided to do something in Finn's style. It was one of the firsts to be sold and I felt such a relief!
