I'm participating in a video hop called #thanksforwatchingart and this time the idea was using a technique from an artist who made a video on a previous event.
This specific spread is not on the video which will be live on March 23rd but the techniques and theme are the same, it's al about living surrounded by color.
I used Gelli prints, used tea bags, old book papers for the background. Images by Tim Holtz and Nancy Baumiller
These projects and video are part of the #thanks4watchingart video hop, event which a collaboration of art videos by the Creative Arts Collaboration Group. Please visit the channels listed in the description box and if you want, like, share and subscribe.
By joining the #thanks4watchingart event you will help grow our fellow creative channels on YouTube.
Thanks so much for participating!!
This is a cradled wood panel which I covered with gold leaf and coated with resin after the collage was done. For the first time I tried "Asemic writing" (wordless open semantic form of writing) in a piece, which I really love experimenting with.
I apologize if the real Japanese symbols are upside down, I don't even know....
